A training series for past participants of conflict training programs, Tools for Tough Conversations provides practical tips on applying conflict de-escalation and communication skills at home, work or in the community. Each supportive learning session is designed to refresh you on key conflict awareness and assertiveness skills and provides ample practice time using scenarios, worksheets and group learning activities, all with the help of trained mediators & facilitators.

Course Fee: $40 for a single class, $200 for the series
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance of the first session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the first session, will not be eligible for a refund but may be able to transfer registration to a future training, pending space availability.
Pre-requisite Required: In order to register for a class within the Tools for Tough Conversations series, participants must have completed the Understanding Conflict workshop, Professional Mediation Training, a different class taught by instructor Mary Dumas, or have a strong background in Conflict Resolution, Psychology, Mediation, Counseling, Peacemaking or International Relations.
